As a follow on to our successful gathering on May 12, Transition Kerry will be hosting a public event for people who are interested in taking action and getting involved. The aim of the evening is to progress the building of resilient communities and economies in Kerry.

Arising from the previous event, there are 9 groups that people can become involved with and some of the groups came up with great ideas.

Kerry is dependent on sources outside of the county for most of our food, fuel, energy, a lot of our jobs and most of our “stuff”. We need to became a more self relient and sustainable community.

This event is about working together, to discuss and build support for a more reselient community and economy, based on environmental sustainability.
