Kerry Sustainable Energy Co-op Information Evening Better Energy Communities 2017

Wednesday January 11th 7.30pm at the Family Resource Centre, 39 Iveragh Park, Killorglin

An Information evening on grants and energy upgrades that are available for homes, SMEs and not-for-profit/community groups.

SEAI will offer €30 million in grant supports for community energy projects in 2017. This represents a 50% increase in funding from the 2016 grant levels – an additional €10 million for this work.

The scheme, which is administered by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), has supported 300 community energy efficiency projects over the last five years.

As a result over 15,000 homes and hundreds of community, private and public buildings have received energy efficiency upgrades, supporting several hundred jobs each year.

This is a free information evening run by the Kerry Sustainable Energy Co-op – there will also be an opportunity to become a member on the evening
